1. Visual Chassis Component Inspection

Our factory trained technicians visually inspect each of the following chassis related items:

  • Air dryer
  • Air filter canister
  • Air intake system
  • Air-to-air hoses
  • Batteries and cables
  • Charge air cooler
  • Check and adjust tire pressure
  • Drain air tank
  • Inspect and reset filter minder
  • Radiator hoses
  • Vehicle lighting
  • Wheel seals and hubs
  • Windshield and mirrors

In addition to the visual chassis inspection our technicians check the coolant system and charge air cooler system will be pressure-tested and the results will be recorded. Tire pressure will be checked and adjusted accordingly.

In the event we identify anything that requires further attention, we will contact you to discuss.

*During the inspection we will not perform any additional repairs without first securing your authorization in advance.

2. Visual Engine Component Inspection

Our factory trained technicians visually inspect each of the following engine related items during this periodic maintenance procedure:

  • Accy. seal and gasket
  • Actuator
  • Air compressor
  • Alternator and bracket
  • Dipstick
  • Exhaust manifold and piping
  • Fan hub and belts
  • Fuel lines
  • Fuel pump
  • Head gasket
  • Oil cooler
  • Starter and wiring
  • Turbocharger
  • Valve cover gasket
  • Water pump

Florida Detroit Diesel-Allison inspects all items listed in the engine compartment. We have identified the components that are most commonly serviced and that should be monitored regularly. In the event we identify anything that requires further attention, we will contact you to discuss.

*During the inspection we will not perform any additional repairs without first securing your authorization in advance. 

3. Engine and Chassis Service

While performing the engine and chassis service, our factory trained and certified technicians will be utilizing only approved and genuine OEM products and supplies. In the event you would like to have any of your fluids; fuel, coolant, or lube oil analytically tested, we will be happy to secure samples and send them to the factory-approved testing laboratory. We will then forward the results to you after we receive them, typically 5 business days unless overnight sampling is desired.

*Sampling is an additional charge.
